Intersil Announces New Automotive Analog IC Innovation at Convergence 2006 in Detroit

MILPITAS, CA, October 10, 2006 – Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: ISIL), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors, today announced its expanded offerings in the automotive market with the display of analog products and technology in booth #1153 at Convergence 2006, October 16-18 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. Intersil will display its complete family of high-performance analog solutions targeted for the rapidly-growing automotive market.
