Z-Communications, Inc. a global leader in providing Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCO) to meet tomorrow's ultra-low phase noise requirements of carrier generators is proud to introduce the CLV1630A-LF for demanding mobile communications systems. This RoHS compliant model utilizes patented design techniques to deliver unequalled single side band (SSB) phase noise of -111dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz away from carrier with a second harmonic suppression better than -15dBc. The CLV1630A-LF operating at 5Vdc supply and drawing only 25mA (typical) generates frequencies between 1593 and 1654 MHz within 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc of control voltage. This low cost, rugged device offers average tuning sensitivity of 31MHz/V and exhibits exceptional tuning linearity over the frequency band and over the extended operating temperature range of -40 to 85 °C.

The CLV1630A-LF comes in Z-Communications' industry standard MINI surface mount package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.16 in. This VCO is ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow; it is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. Furthermore this technology is available for a reasonable price of $24.95 given its unsurpassed quality and unbeatable performance.
