The new Optical Services Gateway platform marries Centillium's groundbreaking Mustang™ EPON (Ethernet passive optical network) system chip with the VoIP, routing and advanced security capabilities of its award-winning, Atlanta™ product family. By tightly integrating the company's Mustang and Atlanta chipsets with a comprehensive, turnkey software package, system vendors can easily develop enhanced optical network units (ONUs) that enable service providers to offer premium, triple-play capabilities.
