首辆添加安全气囊与防抱死刹车的汽车。现在出现了新一代依赖于相机的驾驶辅助系统，其中相机要对外界照明及环境条件很敏感，并可捕捉快速运动的物体。NS技术带来了后视、盲点监探、车道偏离警告系统(LDWS)、车辆及乘客识别、安全气囊使用分级、夜视系统及碰撞前警报传感器等功能。为了确保信号质量，图像数据以数字方式保存并以串行LVDS（低压差分信号）数据在车辆内传送。
