Vincotech’s smart GPS antenna A1035-D is the combination of a highly integrated GPS receiver module and a ceramic GPS patch antenna. The antenna is connected to the module via an LNA. The module is capable of receiving signals from up to 20 GPS satellites and transferring them into position and timing information that can be read over a serial port. Small size and high-end GPS functionality are combined at low power consumption:

GPS评估模块EVA1035-D
The GPS Evaluation Kit EVA1035-D (EvalKit) allows an easy evaluation of Vincotech’s GPS antenna module A1035-D by offering easy access to most of the ports of the module’s UART.

The EvalKit serves three major purposes: as a demonstration package of the module’s capabilities, as a system for software development delivering NMEA in-formation on serial port and as an example on how to integrate the module into a system.

1) Powering the module and connecting the antenna with sufficient view to the sky will immediately result in an NMEA output with according position in-formation.
2) The connections provided on the module allow direct access by a surround-ing system and therefore an ideal environment for fast development.
3) The schematics in chapter “7 Board Schematics” can serve as examples on how to integrate the GPS module in an easy way.

The EvalKit includes a linear voltage regulator that accepts a wide range of input voltages. The software on the A1035-D delivered with the EvalKit is identical to the standard A1035-D software.
The EvalKit includes the following components:
Demonstration board (labeled A1035-D EVALUATION KIT) with A1035-DGPS antenna receiver,
Serial cable (9pin DS male – 9pin DS female) to connect to your PC,
CD with complete documentation and Vincotech’s GPS Cockpit software.
