TDKEPC is presenting its comprehensive range of electronic components, modules and systems at electronica & Productronica China 2010 , which will be held from March 16 to 18, 2010, in Shanghai, China. The event is one of the highlights on the calendar of the electronics industry in China. At its Stand 4402 in Hall E4, EPCOS is displaying a selection of products for mobile phones, multimedia devices, industrial and automotive applications – including miniaturized 2in1 SAW filters and highly integrated front-end modules, reliable temperature sensors, PFC solutions and new MEMS products.

MEDIA-SEPARATED PRESSURE TRANSMITTERS IN STAINLESS STEEL

MiniCell from EPCOS is a media-separated series of calibrated temperature-compensated pressure transmitters. Thanks to its stainless steel membranes and pressure ports, the MiniCell is well suited for use in aggressive media. The electronics of the new transmitters are her¬metically sealed in inert oil in ceramic packages. They are designed for a wide temperature range between -40 and +140 °C. Despite their ruggedness, they measure only 19.6 x 16.2 x 11 mm³.

At a supply voltage of 5 V, the transmitters supply an analog output voltage of between 0.5 V and 4.5 V. The maximum measurement error is only 1.5% FS over the entire temperature range.

Versions are available for measuring absolute pressure (1.0 to 25 bar), relative pressure (0.5 to 5.0 bar) and differential pressure (0.5 to 5.0 bar). Wet-wet measurement is also possible for the latter variant.

爱普科斯(EPCOS) 的MiniCell是介质隔离式系列校准温度补偿型压力变送器。MiniCell具有不锈钢薄膜和压力孔,可应用于腐蚀性介质环境。该新型变送器的电子电路采用惰性油与陶瓷密封封装,设计应用温度范围为-40℃到+140℃。该变送器坚固耐用,其尺寸仅为19.6 x 16.2 x 11mm³。

EXTENDED PTC SERIES FOR INRUSH CURRENT LIMITING  冲击电流限制的扩展系列 

The new packaged PTC elements of the B5910XJ family have comparable electrical properties to their predecessor types, but their heat capacity has been increased from 2 J/K to 2.3 J/K. This means that fewer parallel-connected PTC resistors are needed to charge large link-circuit capacitors. The package design was also improved. The PTCs are designed for voltages of 260 V, 440 V and 560 V with rated resistances of 22 Ω, 56 Ω and 100 Ω. Six new types of leaded PTC inrush current limiters with heat capacities of between 1.0 J/K and 1.4 J/K have been developed for small loads and few switching cycles.

与原有型号产品相比,B5910XJ系列新型封装PTC元件除具有相当电气性能外,其热容也从2J/K增至2.3J/K,这意味着对大型链路电容器充电时所需并联PTC电阻器的数量可减少。该元件的封装设计也得到了改进。此PTC热敏电阻设计用于260V、440V和560V电压,其额定电阻为22Ω、56Ω和100Ω。六种新型引线式PTC冲击电流限制器,其热容范围为1.0K/J~1.4K/J,用于低负荷和较少开关循环的应用。

2-IN-1 FILTER FOR GPS AND BLUETOOTH    蓝牙和GPS用2合1滤波器

 

The new 2-in-1 filter for GPS and Bluetooth has dimensions of only 2.0 x 1.6 mm2 and features outstanding filter properties. The degree of integration has been increased at the same time, as the 2-in-1 filter also offers a diplexing function. The diplexer separates the GPS from the Bluetooth signal, a necessary step when using only a single antenna for both applications. The combination of two filter functions plus diplexing in a single component not only saves space on the circuit board but also allows customers to reduce their placement and logistics costs. EPCOS develops such highly integrated filter solutions in close cooperation with leading chipset manufacturers for mobile phones. In addition to GPS and Bluetooth, connectivity applications include WLAN, FM, DVB-T and WiMAX. They are playing an ever more important role for suppliers of mobile phone equipment, especially in the high-end segment that includes smart phones and MIDs (Mobile Internet Devices).

HIGH EFFICIENCIES EVEN AT PARTIAL LOADS    不满载时仍可实现高效

 
EPCOS has developed a new power ferrite material with an exceptionally low power loss. In contrast to existing materials, N95 offers a constant loss minimum of 310 kW/m3 over a broad temperature range of between 60 and 100 °C. Depending on the temperature this is 15 to 54 percent lower than the losses of conventional power ferrite materials. Another advantage is its high flux density of 525 mT at 25 °C and 410 mT at 100 °C. The new material is thus particularly suitable for power converters in switch-mode power supplies, allowing optimized efficiency even at partial load. The material’s high degree of temperature independence is an advantage especially under alternating load factors and above all in the partial load range of power supplies, where it reduces the thermal loss and thus unnecessarily consumed power. Typical applications are power supplies for servers with frequently changing load factors. N95 is predominantly available in core types E, ER and ETD.
