The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) reduces severe accidents while assisting the driver. The system contains input sensors, a processor, a CAN-Interface and possibly a video output interface. The parallel processing interface (PPI) offers a single device or a group of input sensors (vision, radar, lidar, infrared, etc.). This unit runs the data processing/control/decision making/communication software for one or multiple ADAS applications.
