CMP Technologies and Nitta Haas Win Award for Second Consecutive Year

Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials (NYSE:ROH), CMP Technologies, and Nitta Haas Incorporated, leaders and innovators in chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) technology for the global semiconductor industry, today announced that together they have received Hitachi Semiconductor Singapore Pte. Ltd.’s (HNS) 2008 Supplier Excellence Award. Rohm and Haas was honored in the Direct Material (Seller) category for the second year in a row.

The criteria HNS considered for selecting award recipients includes quality, technology, cost, delivery and service. Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials, along with Nitta Haas, Inc., a joint venture with Nitta Corp. of Japan, supplies CMP consumables and related services to HNS.
